Smashbox Cosmetics Photo-Shoot-Ready Makeup Who doesn't want to look like the models in the pages of a magazine? That is the inspiration behind Smashbox Cosmetics. Dean and Davis Factor, the two grandsons of makeup legend Max Factor, created Smashbox Photo Studios in 1991. After being asked to create a makeup line that met the perfecting needs of a photo shoot, they created Smashbox Cosmetics in 1996.
Quite possibly their most popular product, Photo Finish Foundation Primer creates a pore-less, wrinkle-free complexion in an instant and is also available in light, bronzing, anti-aging, and color correcting formulas.
Smashbox cares about the environment as well as the health of your skin. All of the products are cruelty-free and even though many of the brushes are made of animal hair, no animals are harmed in this process. The packaging is recyclable and made using Sustainable Foresty Initiative Certified paper and soy inks. All of the products are paraben-free, non-irritating, clinically, dermatologist, and allergy tested, and are made with healthy ingredients. Created in 2005, Smashbox Cares is a foundation dedicated to giving back to the community as well as other areas of the world in need.
